The Light Oil-Fuelled motorcar, with the acronym ALn668 was designed to be versatile and adaptable to many different environments. It has 68 seats, eight first class seats and sixty second class seats. In 1993, with the concession of the Brescia Iseo Edolo branch, Ferrovie Nord Milano Esercizio received 11 Aln 668 numbered units built between 1960 - 1991 and 1993 – 1995, when another eight were commissioned to Fiat.
