Facilities

LeNORD provides preferential fares on different kinds of tickets and season tickets.

In particular, these special offers are provided to:

Elderly people
Women over 60 years and men over 65 – certified by an Id document – are entitled to a 20% discount on one-way tickets or return tickets.

Blind subjects
Blind subjects who are certified by the card of the Italian Association of the Blind (Unione Italiana Ciechi) (Mod.28/c) and have a valid Id document, are entitled to have a 40% reduction (adults/young people, 1st/ 2nd class) on one-way or return tickets valid on the date of issue. The accompanying person is entitled to have a 40% reduction on the same tickets. Even if accompanied by another person, the blind are allowed to take their guide dogs for free.

Disabled war veterans and workers
Disabled war veterans or workers are entitled to have a 40% reduction (1st and 2nd class) on the purchase of one-way or return tickets valid on the date of issue, if they submit the following documents:

• DISABLED WAR VETERANS: Green card Mod. 36 that entitles the subject to have free tickets for the accompanying person or mustard yellow card Mod. 38 that does not entitle the accompanying person to ride for free.
• DISABLED WORKERS: Light blue card Mod. 37 that entitles the subject to have free tickets for the accompanying person or mustard yellow card Mod. 38 that does not entitle the accompanying person to ride for free.
• CATEGORY 2-3-4 INVALIDS AND DISABLED PEOPLE: Ad hoc vouchers (Mod. 39 for category 2, Mod. 40 for categories 3-4) together with their personal card or disability pension card.

Domestic voters
Domestic voters are entitled to pay a social rate reduced by 20% (1st and 2nd class) if they submit a valid voting paper and Id document, to buy return tickets valid for 20 days (10 days before the election, the day of the ballot, and 9 days after the election)

Foreign voters
Foreign voters who come back to Italy for national elections must submit their voting paper or the notice signed by the mayor and stamped by the Municipality where they will vote and a valid Id document to be entitled to a social rate reduced by 20% (1st and 2nd class) for purchasing return tickets valid for 60 days (30 days before the election, the day of the ballot and 29 days after the election)

Groups
Groups are entitled to different rebates according to the number of people and groups:

• 20% for groups with 10 – 24 people;
• 30% for groups of 25 – 100 people;
• 40% for groups with at least 101 people paying their tickets.

Holidays
During holidays return tickets are reduced by 20%.
